Cashless Payments

In recent years, more and more people have started paying with credit cards and smartphones instead of cash. Some shops no longer accept coins and bills at all. The government has also encouraged this change by giving points to people who pay without cash. Cashless payments are convenient in many ways. People do not have to carry heavy wallets or worry about having enough money with them. In addition, shops can serve customers more quickly, and they do not need to spend time counting money at the end of the day. However, not everyone welcomes cashless payments. Some people worry that their personal information could be stolen if their phone or card is lost. Others, especially older people, find it difficult to learn how to use new payment apps. Furthermore, when there is a power failure or a network problem, people may be unable to buy anything at all.
